I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I know it. I love it. I live it.
My Church has brought me companionship in times of heartache and trial, fresh, homemade meals when my family was breaking, and a sense of community--a safe place to raise my children, to ask to borrow eggs or a cup of milk for chocolate-chip cookies.
My Gospel has brought a powerful and eternal purpose to my life, giving me direction and light. I know The Book of Mormon to be the word of God, and I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet that speaks to our Heavenly Father and Savior and leads the church today.
My Savior Jesus Christ, my Older Brother, Savior, and Friend, has given me, through his marvelous atonement and sacrifice, the opportunity to live with those I love for forever and continue to progress and learn. I am so grateful for my family and for my sweet Jackson and can't imagine an eternity without them.
My God has given me his pure love, and I feel that love in the little details of my life. I feel his love as I lay my head on my husbands chest in the morning. I feel that love as I kiss the tender cheeks of a brand new baby. I feel that love in the quiet moments of despair, of heartbreak, of happiness and grief, triumph and failure. I feel that love on my drive to school in the mornings, in the silent hours of the night when I cannot sleep. I know that my Heavenly Father and Savior are aware of every detail of my life, and for that I am so grateful. We truly are never alone.
